New Route Initiative

The Southern Alberta section of the Alpine Club of Canada is sponsoring a series of new route development and route access projects.  Funds have been set aside for out of pocket expenses.  This may include funds for climbing anchors, kiosk signage, trail development, etc.  Please submit any interested projects to any member of the SA ACC executive.  Currently fixed anchor reimbursement is contingent upon completion of a new route development course or equivalent experience.  For safety, the club refers to supply individuals with fixed anchors rather than expense reimbursements.  Approved projects must create shareable documentation.  This information is housed (here) on the SA ACC website.
